Getting Started ::: After the installation is complete, Open a new or existing PowerPoint presentation. A FlashReady floating palette should appear in the working area of PowerPoint. This palette will access the FlashReady dialogue box which will allow you to insert your Flash Movie into PowerPoint. |

| If you do not see this palette, you can access the dialogue box by clicking on Flash Movie button from the INSERT menu item in PowerPoint. | |||

FlashReady Dialogue Box ::: The FlashReady Dialogue box is very simple to use: |

| Categories | The pull down menu allows you to select from different categories of Flash Movie. Selecting a category will display thumbnail images of the corresponding Flash Movie in the window below. Clicking on a thumbnail will allow you to preview the movie in the window on the right hand side of the FlashReady Dialogue Box. | ||
| Import... | This button allows you to
import your own Flash Movie |

Use slide
background color |
You can uncheck this option if you want to change the background color of your Flash Movie. (may not work well with all Flash Movies.) | ||
| Movie properties | |||
| Embed | Check this option if you would like to embed the Flash Movie into your PowerPoint presentation. Doing this will allow you send your presentation to other users without having to send the flash file along with it. Note: this will increase the file size of your PowerPoint presentation. | ||
| Loop | If you uncheck this option, the Flash Movie will play only once in the selected slide during presentations. | ||
| Help | Provides you with a list of help options to choose from. | ||
| OK | With a Flash Movie selected at left, click this button to apply the Flash Movie to your PowerPoint presentations. | ||
| Cancel | Click this button to close the PowerPlugs: FlashReady dialog box and cancel any changes you have made | ||

Resizing Your Flash Movie ::: The Once you have added a Flash Movie to your PowerPoint presentation, You will notice 8 white squares surrounding your movie. These squares are the resizing bars, they indicate where the movie can be resized from. |

| Use
your mouse to drag one of the corners of the movie and stretch or shrink
the movie to the desired size. If you hold the “Shift” Key while resizing the movie, the proportions of the movie will remain constant and your movie will not look stretched or squashed. ::: Viewing a PowerPoint Presentation Containing a Flash Movie ::: In order for your Flash Movie to play properly in PowerPoint, you must make sure that you use the “View Show” option which can be found in the Slide Show menu option. |

Deleting a Flash Movie ::: Select the Flash Movie that you've placed into your presentation. Press the "Delete" button on your keyboard. |
